Gunny is a self taught tattoo artist born and raised in New York City and began his tattoo journey after receiving mentorship from veteran tattoo artist Megan Hoogland. He is also responsible for introducing full blackout tattoo style to NYC… With a wide range of skills, including tattooing, oil painting, watercolor painting, airbrushing, and sculpting. 

Gunny specializes in heavy blackout, black and gray portraiture, and blackwork tattoo styles. Over his seventeen-year tattooing career, Gunny has shared his expertise in various parts of the world, including Germany, the Netherlands, and Tokyo, Japan. Story telling here.
